'Des' joined the club as a fresh-faced 15-year-old way back in the late eighties. He soon proved himself to be worthy of a regular first team place and grew into a prolific striker or attacking midfielder. Went on to play for many seasons and was a vital part of the team that won promotion to Division 1 in 1997. Now enjoying a starring role in the reserves but can still perform at the higher level when called upon to do so. |

| Position: First team Assistant Manager/ Director of Football. Mr Roberts has been with the club for around 25 years and has experienced it all (except relegation! Lets hope he never does) has been first team manager and second team manager on a couple occasions at least, has now found himself a new role in assisting the manager which has paid dividends on the pitch, however his playing career looks all but over which will be sorely missed. Now sponsoring the first team shows how much he is committed to the club and hope we can return the gesture with some success in the near future. |
